Spring Gala Luncheon 2009
Our annual Springtime Gala was held April 16 at the Holiday Inn, New Hartford. It was a beautiful spring day with loads of sunshine and blue sky.
An enthusiastic crowd enjoyed a delicious buffet followed by a high-energy performance from entertainer Russ Peterson. Russ entertained non-stop for more than one and a half hours and the crowd loved it. After the show Russ was gracious enough to greet his new fans, pose for photographs and autograph CD’s.
Special thanks to Russ Peterson, Yves Descoteaux from Northeast Entertainment Agency, and Gorden Voorhees and his fabulous staff at the Holiday Inn for making this a fantastic day for our guests. Also thanks to Erin G. for running the spotlight and her assistance before and after the show. And of course, a huge THANK YOU to all of those who came to the Springtime Gala with a group or just with a friend or two. Groups in attendance included Jordan Elbridge, Steuben, and Singing Hills Seniors. We appreciate your support very much.

Red Hat Day Luncheon
Turning Stone Resort
Tours By Design was once again a vendor at the 6th annual Red Hat Luncheon held this year April 26, 2009 at the Turning Stone Resort. Over 350 Red Hatters from the Mohawk Valley and Central New York attended the event. Ladies enjoyed a sit-down meal, entertainment by performer Laura Roth, numerous raffles and door prizes, and time to explore the vendor exhibit area.
The Tours By Design booth was staffed by President and Owner Carol Buczek, along with assistance from Veronika Freeman, our web designer at dotcalm. We had fun sharing tour ideas with the ladies and encouraging them to “go green” by hopping on a motorcoach for their next trip.
