Tour Includes:
Round trip transportation via Hale Motorcoach, tour escort, overnight accommodations at Sheraton Hotel Tarrytown with luggage handling, dinner, breakfast, guided tour of the Old Dutch Church Graveyard, admission to the Great Jack O ’Lantern Blaze, guided tour of Lyndhurst Mansion (from the Gilded Age). Gratuity for luggage handling, meals, and guided tours. Not included: Optional but customary gratuity for driver and tour escort. No envelopes are provided (or required), please handle on an individual basis.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS INFORMATION BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR THE TOUR:
This tour involves outdoor attractions and travelers will need to be able to navigate walking on inclines, declines, and unpaved pathways. There is an uphill incline to reach the church graveyard where the tour takes place over an uneven, unpaved surface. The optional trek to visit Washington Irving's grave is uphill as well and some travelers may wish to forego that option.
Blaze is a walk-through experience along uneven, unpaved surfaces with some narrow and sloped paths. It is however a fairly level walk.
At Lyndhurst, the guided tour will include a second floor that is not handicapped accessible (no elevator).
This is a rain or shine event.
Reservation & Payment Info:
Minimum deposit of $100.00 per person (or full payment) is required within two weeks of reservation. Full payment due by September 12, 2025. Requests for additions after that date are accepted based on availability and may be subject to price increase. Payment by checks only, (sorry, no cards) payable to Tours By Design, Inc. There are no refunds for individual cancellations after September 12, and there is a $5.00 service fee for any cancellation once any payment is made.
